Our Services

Frontline Physicians Legal Analysis LLC is a law firm dedicated to critical analysis of medical malpractice cases.  Frontline’s purpose is to provide essential analysis from a large network of physicians having specific specialties and varying backgrounds.  By engaging several physicians to evaluate the merits of a single case where physical practice of each of the physicians engaged varies, such as physicians from large metropolitan areas to small communities, Frontline is uniquely positioned to zero in on the standard of care applicable to each case evaluated.

Participating physicians will utilize their varied experiences to identify factors contributing to the purported harm resulting in the malpractice case.  Participating physicians can further be utilized as expert witnesses for depositions and courtroom testimony.

Frontline is a non-biased, neutral service for expert medical analysis protected by attorney-client privilege and attorney-work-product.  Frontline is neither pro-plaintiff nor pro-defendant but approaches each case purely on the facts making Frontline’s services ideal to be utilized by either plaintiff or defense counsel.

Participating physicians will not be told whether Frontline’s client supports the prosecution or the defense so any bias the participants may have will be nullified. Further, all participants will be queried to establish if they have participated as expert witnesses in the past, whether that participation was for the prosecution or defense, and how many times they were expert witnesses.

Frontline designates 3 physicians in the medical specialty at issue in the litigation.  Each of these 3 physicians independently reviews the facts of the case and submits their opinions using the Case Summary supplied by Frontline.  Physicians are selected based upon not only their work in their specialty but also based upon their experience and location.  Location is a critical issue since a standard of care must be determined for each case and the standard of care can and often does vary depending upon whether the incident occurred in a small-town hospital/clinic with little resources or in a large metropolitan hospital/clinic having significant resources.

Each participating physician will be asked to opine whether the standard of care was met by the physician who is the subject of the litigation, and opine whether there are contributing factors involved and what those factors are.

Dr. Powell’s career incorporates military practice, practice in a small town with very limited resources, and practice in large metropolitan hospitals.  Further, Dr. Powell has created a network of physicians in all these locations and in critical areas of practice.

Frontline is organized as a law firm to obtain medical analysis of the facts of a case with a view towards litigation.  As a law firm, Frontline is able to take advantage of the Attorney Privileges, thus protecting the Expert analysis from discovery.
